Position
Registered Nurse (RN) in PACU (Post Anesthesia Care)
ResponsibilitiesProviding patient-centered care in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, managing pain, and supporting rapid patient recovery. The role involves working with diverse patient populations, ensuring safety and comfort, and adhering to infection control policies. Shifts are 8 hours, with on-call coverage for weekends and holidays.
QualificationsGraduate of an accredited nursing program and current New York State RN license. Preferred candidates hold a Bachelor's degree in Nursing and relevant clinical experience in acute or ambulatory care. Additional certifications such as CCRN, ACLS, PALS, or TNCC are advantageous.
Skills & EnvironmentAbility to work in a high-pressure setting with frequent interruptions, standing, walking, bending, and lifting. Exposure to cleaning solutions and PPE is common. The environment includes patient care areas and office settings, with a focus on safety and infection control.
