Role: Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Neuro Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
Responsibilities: Provide high-quality, patient-centered nursing care to patients with neurological and medical-surgical conditions. Support recovery from stroke, neurological disorders, and complex conditions while promoting safety and optimal outcomes. Build strong relationships with patients and families, collaborate with team members, and ensure adherence to infection control policies.
Qualifications & Skills- Graduate of an accredited nursing school; BSc in Nursing preferred
- Current NYS RN license
- Preferred certifications: ACLS, PALS, TNCC, or related specialty
- Experience in acute care or ambulatory settings is advantageous
- Ability to work in fast-paced, environment with frequent interruptions, walking, standing, bending, and lifting
- Compliance with PPE and infection control protocols
Deliver compassionate, safe care to patients of all ages, assist in recovery, and foster teamwork to achieve positive patient outcomes. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
