About This Role
The Staff Nurse position in the M3 Med-Surg Telemetry unit at UHS is ideal for compassionate and skilled nurses ready to provide high-quality, patient-centered care to adult medical-surgical patients. This part-time role offers evening shifts and the opportunity to work collaboratively in a supportive environment.

Part-time, Evening shift - Sign-On Bonus:
Up to $25,000 for experienced candidates
- Provide safe, high-quality, patient-centered care to adult medical-surgical patients.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions and report changes to the healthcare team.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Educate patients and families on health management and care plans.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care.
- Participate in unit meetings and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
- Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing required
- Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing preferred
- Previous clinical nursing experience in an acute care or ambulatory setting preferred
- Current NYS RN License required
- Professional certification in a related nursing specialty preferred
- Relevant skills certification (i.e., ACLS, PALS, TNCC) as required by home unit assigned preferred
