Behavioral Health Registered Nurse

About This Role

United Health Services is seeking compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurses (RNs) to join their inpatient Behavioral Health Team at UHS Binghamton General Hospital. This role is ideal for those who want to provide patient-centered care to individuals experiencing mental health and substance use disorders.

• Pay: $41 - $61/hour
• Location: Binghamton, NY
• Schedule: Rotating shifts

• Provide patient-centered care to individuals with mental health and substance use disorders.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Administer medications as prescribed.
• Support crisis intervention and de-escalation efforts.
• Foster a safe, trauma-informed healing environment.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team.

Education:

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing
• Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing preferred

Experience:

• Previous clinical nursing experience in an acute care or ambulatory setting preferred

Licenses &

Certifications:

• Current NYS RN License required
• Professional certification in a related nursing specialty preferred
• Relevant skills certification (i.e., ACLS, PALS, TNCC) as required by home unit assigned preferred
