Join Guthrie Lourdes Cardiology in on Riverside Drive in Binghamton, NY, where you'll support a busy outpatient cardiology practice alongside 11 experienced Cardiology providers. This is not a typical clinic nursing role focused primarily on phone triage and paperwork. Instead, you'll play a key role in outpatient cardiac stress testing, working directly with patients before, during, and after diagnostic procedures while utilizing the clinical judgment and assessment skills you've worked hard to develop.

You'll care for patients with a wide range of cardiovascular conditions, including coronary artery disease, heart failure, arrhythmias, structural heart disease, syncope, and hypertension. As part of a dedicated cardiology team, you'll collaborate closely with providers, monitor patients throughout testing, recognize changes in condition, and help ensure safe, high-quality cardiovascular care every day.

• Full-time, Monday-Friday schedule
• Clinic hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, No weekends, No Holidays, No on-call

The Registered Nurse (RN) provides professional, comprehensive nursing care for patients in an acute care environment. Accountable for the delivery of coordinated, safe, compassionate, therapeutic, evidence‑based quality care to patients and families, based on individual physical, emotional, and spiritual needs, and appropriate care strategies throughout the lifespan. Practices in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act in the state of employment, the American Nurses Association (ANA) Code of Ethics for Nurses, and the ANA scope and standards of practice.

Essential functions and specific skills for the job are found in the unit specific onboarding checklist and in standards that are applicable to the specialty.

Registered Nurses within the practice play an integral role in performing and monitoring exercise and pharmacologic stress testing. These diagnostic procedures require strong assessment skills, attention to detail, and the ability to recognize and respond to changes in patient condition. Nurses work closely with cardiologists and advanced practice providers to ensure safe, efficient, and patient‑centered care.
