Dialysis (RN) Registered Nurse Join Our Team at Bridgewater Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing

Bridgewater Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing is a long and short-term care facility providing services to the disabled and elderly, offering a complete range of medical, nursing, and rehabilitation services. Our goal is to create a home away from home for our residents as they convalesce, to provide them with the skilled care of our dedicated medical and nursing staff, and to return them back to their own homes as soon as possible.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dialysis (RN) Registered Nurse to join our team at Bridgewater Center for Dialysis, a state-of-the-art, eight-chair Hemodialysis unit located near downtown Binghamton. As a Dialysis (RN) Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support to our residents. This is a full-time position, working day shift, 5 days a week.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide skilled nursing care to patients with end-stage renal disease (ESRD) undergoing hemodialysis treatments
  • Assess patient condition and provide individualized care plans to meet their unique needs
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the Director of Nursing
  • Ensure accurate and thorough documentation of patient care and treatment plans
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with patients, families, and colleagues
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes
Requirements:
  • 1 year of RN experience required
  • Experience in dialysis or critical care preferred, but will train the right candidate
  • Current NY State RN license
  • BLS certification
