Staff Nurse - Methadone Maintenance​/FTE

The Staff Nurse in Methadone Maintenance provides patient-centered care by protecting, promoting, and optimizing health while preventing illness and alleviating suffering. This role is ideal for nurses who are committed to compliance with professional standards and fostering a healing environment.

• Pay: $41 - $61/hour
• Location: Binghamton, NY
• Facility: UHS Medication-Assisted Treatment Clinic
• Schedule: Full-time, Day shift

• Protect, promote, and optimize health and abilities of patients.
• Prevent illness and injury through effective nursing practices.
• Alleviate suffering through diagnosis and treatment of human responses.

• Ensure compliance with New York State Nurse Practice Act and UHS policies.

• Education:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing required
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing preferred
• Experience:
  • Previous clinical nursing experience in an acute care or ambulatory setting preferred

  • Current NYS RN License required
  • Professional certification in a related nursing specialty preferred
  • Relevant skills certification (i.e., ACLS, PALS, TNCC) as required by home unit assigned preferred
