Business Development Representative - Outbound Sales

Company Overview

CMPX Intelligent Systems builds high-performance websites, AI-driven automations, and lead generation systems for service-based businesses.

We partner with landscapers, contractors, real estate professionals, plumbers, and other service companies to help them generate qualified leads, automate operations, and scale efficiently.

Our systems integrate:

  • Custom conversion-focused websites

We focus on measurable ROI and long-term partnerships — not one-off website builds.

As CMPX expands, we are building a selective outbound sales team to support new client acquisition.

Role Overview

This is a performance-based, remote-friendly opportunity for a Business Development Representative (Outbound Sales).

Responsibilities include:

  • Identifying qualified service businesses
  • Conducting outbound outreach (calls, Linked In, email)

After a deal is closed, CMPX handles all fulfillment and client management.

There are no ongoing servicing responsibilities for the sales representative.

Compensation Structure

This role is commission-based with strong upside potential.

  • Commission: ~20% per closed deal

Top performers who exceed baseline expectations may qualify for increased earning opportunities as the outbound team scales.

Training & Development

Selected candidates will receive structured onboarding covering:

  • Objection handling frameworks
  • Outreach scripts & messaging
  • Real-world sales call walkthroughs

This is ideal for individuals interested in hands-on experience in:

  • Able to work independently

Prior outbound experience is a plus but not required.

Preference will be given to candidates affiliated with Binghamton University’s School of Management seeking practical experience in sales and growth strategy within an expanding digital systems company.
