Do you have a passion for helping others change their lives? Do you enjoy creating a safe and supportive environment for others to grow in? The YMCA of Broome County has an exciting opportunity for you to make a difference as a Security Manager in our Housing Development.

As a Security Manager, you will oversee daily security operations to ensure a safe, structured, and secure environment for residents, members, staff, and guests.

Job Responsibilities
  • Assist in supervising a security team consisting of 8-12 staff members
  • Support the enforcement of security policies, procedures, and regulations to maintain a safe environment for residents, members, staff, and guests
  • Assist with recruiting, onboarding, and training
  • Provide shift coverage as needed to maintain appropriate staffing levels
  • Develop and maintain weekly security staff schedules
  • Assist with developing and implementing inventory tracking systems for housing supplies, including drug testing materials, linens, bedding, and other necessary items as directed by the Housing Director
  • Assist in ensuring security staff complete all required trainings and maintain compliance with mandatory training requirements
  • Perform all duties and responsibilities required of YMCA Security Guards
Salary

$20.00 per hour

Shift

Tuesday-Saturday

Time: 4pm-12:30am

Requirements
  • Dedication to helping others
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Candidate must be at least 18 years of age
  • Excellent communication skills
  • General knowledge in Microsoft Office
  • Experience working with individuals with mental and physical health diagnoses or substance abuse preferred
