PT Flex Security Officer - Binghamton, NY

Job Overview

Securitas Security is hiring a part-time security officer as a flex office. Candidates will operate on their own reliable means of transportation, as public transport is not available. The role includes interior and exterior patrols and emergency response.

• Patrol assigned areas (interior & exterior) to maintain safety and order.
• Monitor premises and enforce company and client regulations.
• Provide customer service and information to employees and customers.
• Respond to emergencies and coordinate with emergency services as needed.

Unlicensed candidates must complete NYS Security training courses and an orientation at the Johnson City office (Rochester NY office also available).

• Strong customer service skills.
• Comfortable using a computer.
• No prior security experience required; retail, food service, or hospitality background is an asset.

• Flexible schedule with varied days/hours.
• Available to fill in temporary assignments and work all shifts and days.
