Maintenance Mechanic

C.H. Thompson is currently seeking a motivated Maintenance Mechanic to join our team! As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be a vital part of our team, ensuring the smooth operation of our facility through various maintenance tasks. • Electrical Maintenance: Perform all minor & major electrical maintenance tasks using appropriate tools. Work with systems ranging from 110v single-phase to 480-volt 3-phase.
• Plumbing Maintenance: Conduct minor & major plumbing repairs such as fixing leaks, unclogging drains, trenching, and replacing hoses.
• Industrial Machinery: Repair, install, and adjust industrial machinery to ensure optimal performance.
• Troubleshooting: Diagnose and repair defective equipment promptly and efficiently.
• Work Orders: Swiftly respond to work order requests, ensuring minimal downtime.
• General Maintenance: Perform a variety of maintenance tasks to support the overall function and safety of our facility.

  Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to push up to 75 pounds, bend, kneel, and climb as needed.

  • Strong understanding of electrical systems and plumbing.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Experience with PVC, CPVC, and black steel pipe is preferred.

• Monday - Thursday 6:30am-3:30pm, Friday 6:30am-12:30pm

• Wage
  • $20.50 - $27.00 per hour plus a 90-Day Review for a prospective increase!
