Professional Painter

Our painters perform a variety of tasks such as assembling scaffolding, surface preparation, sanding down old paint, filling in drywall holes, mixing paint colors, and painting homes and businesses. The ideal candidate should be comfortable talking with clients to understand their needs. Ideally, you have experience with a variety of paint surfaces and materials, and are comfortable using hand and power tools to get the job done.

• Prepare surfaces for painting by filling holes and cracks with putty and sanding.
• Erect scaffolding when required.
• Coat painted surfaces with primer or sealer.
• Communicate with clients to determine their needs and advise them on the right approach.
• Leave the work area clean once the project has been completed.

• Stamina, ability to stand for long periods of time, dexterity, and physical strength.
• General knowledge of painting techniques and tools; training will be provided.
• Strong time management, communication skills, and attention to detail.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 2+ years of work experience and completed apprenticeship preferred, but not required.

$17 - $20 hourly
