- Operate truck and rail scales to accurately weigh inbound and outbound loads of frac sand and materials.
- Issue and maintain weight tickets, bills of lading, shipping manifests, and other required documentation.
- Enter load, weight, and shipment data into computerized tracking systems with a high level of accuracy.
- Direct truck drivers and rail traffic to proper weighing, loading, and unloading locations within the yard.
- Coordinate with transload operators to ensure efficient material flow between trucks, railcars, and silos.
- Monitor loading and unloading activities to ensure compliance with safety, weight limits, and quality standards.
- Communicate effectively with drivers, yard personnel, dispatch, and management regarding load status and site conditions.
- Perform basic inspections of scales and report equipment issues or discrepancies.
- Maintain a clean, organized scale house and surrounding work area free of safety hazards.
- Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements at all times.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous scale house, logistics, or transload experience preferred.
- Basic computer skills and ability to accurately input and manage data.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, in inclement weather.
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
- Strong commitment to safety, accuracy, and operational excellence.

- Ability to follow proper protocol for incident reporting and emergency situations.
- Professional communication skills when interacting with drivers and coworkers.
- Flexible and adaptable to the changing needs of clients and the oilfield industry.
- Ability to work outdoors in wet, humid, hot, or cold conditions as required.
- Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods of time.
- Ability to use hands and arms for computer work, paperwork, and light equipment operation.
- Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Work environment may include moving mechanical parts, dust, fumes, airborne particles, and moderate to loud noise, requiring consistent use of appropriate PPE.
