Driver-Mobile Unit - Mammography - Part Time

Experience:

Experience in CDL driving and operating vehicles, preferably mobile unit or tractor trailers

Skills:

* Ability to safely drive and operate CDL vehicles

* Basic mechanical skills to perform daily inspections and minor troubleshooting

* Strong organizational skills for maintaining logs and checklists

* Ability to interact professionally with healthcare staff and patients

* Valid CDL A or B driving license with a clean driving record and air brake endorsement

Requirements:

* Ability to work flexible hours and travel across multiple service areas

* Ability to follow safety protocols and regulatory guidelines

* Must be able to lift and carry equipment when setting up the mobile unit

* Basic computer knowledge

Education:

High School Graduate or equivalent

Essential Functions:

* Transportation and Setup:

* Drive the mobile unit to designated locations in NY and PA

* Setup and break down the mobile unit at each site in a timely and efficient manner

* Transport the mobile unit between the storage garage and Lourdes Hospital as needed

* Vehicle Maintenance and Safety:

* Perform daily vehicle inspections to ensure safe operating conditions

* Maintain accurate logs of vehicle usage, inspections, and any maintenance performed

* Schedule and oversee necessary maintenance such as oil changes, waste removal, tire checks, and other routine upkeep

* Cleaning and Maintenance:

* Wash unit at the end of each day

* Clean and sanitize the mobile unit floors

* Ensure the mobile unit is safe, functional, and presentable at all times

* Administrative Duties:

* Maintain checklists and maintenance logs for mobile unit

* Document any issues or concerns that may arise during operations

* Register and check-in patients for mammography

* Perform other duties as assigned in support of the mobile unit operations.

Pay rate ranges from $18.60 - $29.02 per hour.
