Painter & Decorators
Location:
Multiple school sites across the Wirral
Duration: 6 weeks
Rate: £19-£20 per hour
Start: 20th July
Contract Type:
Temporary
We are looking for experienced Painters & Decorators to carry out internal and external works across school buildings throughout the Wirral. You'll be part of a professional maintenance team delivering high‑quality finishes in active educational environments.
Key Responsibilities- Internal emulsion works on walls and ceilings
- External painting including masonry and woodwork
- Sash window preparation & painting
- Surface preparation: sanding, filling, priming
- Ensuring safe working practices within school premises
- Delivering consistent, high‑quality workmanship to deadlines
- Valid CSCS Card - essential
- IPAF qualification - preferred
- Proven experience in painting & decorating, ideally in public‑sector or school environments
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Strong attention to detail and pride in finish quality
