Accounting Associate – Birmingham, Alabama

We’re hiring an Accounting Associate to support our Accounts Payable team in Birmingham, AL. This role helps maintain accurate financial records, supports daily accounting processes, and ensures smooth, compliant financial operations. • Enter and maintain financial data in accounting systems
• Process invoices, purchase orders, and expense reports
• Support bank reconciliations and financial report preparation
• Keep financial documents organized and audit‑ready
• Perform routine bookkeeping tasks and data entry
• Partner with internal teams to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Respond to vendor and internal inquiries
• Assist with additional accounting tasks and special projects

• Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 0–5 years of accounting or finance support experience
• Understanding of basic accounting principles and procedures
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Strong attention to detail and multitasking skills
• Solid communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
