Director of Accounting

We are seeking a Director of Accounting to lead core accounting operations, ensure financial integrity, and strengthen processes that support continued stability and growth. • Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes
• Oversee internal controls, compliance, and external audits
• Manage fixed assets, payroll oversight, cash flow, and account reconciliations
• Direct accounting for U.S. government contracts and grants
• Lead ERP upgrades and accounting process improvements
• Develop, mentor, and retain a high‑performing accounting team
• Partner with senior leadership to support financial strategy and sound decision‑making

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance;
  CPA required
• 8+ years of accounting experience with 2+ years in leadership
• Working experience in a robust ERP is a plus

Salary expectations: $120-130K depending on level of experience

Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual's skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs.
