Entry Level Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Entry-Level Accountant to join our finance team. This role is ideal for recent graduates or early-career professionals looking to gain hands-on experience in accounting operations, financial reporting, and compliance. The Entry-Level Accountant will support daily accounting functions and assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with preparing and maintaining financial records, reports, and general ledger entries
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
• Reconcile bank statements and company accounts
• Support month-end and year-end closing procedures
• Prepare journal entries and maintain documentation
• Assist with payroll processing and expense reports
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards such as Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB) guidelines or International Accounting Standards Board (IASB) standards (if applicable)
• Support internal and external audits
• Maintain organized financial files and records
• Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., Netsuite, SAP, or similar systems)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Good communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
