Overview

BMSS Advisors & CPAs is seeking proactive, detail-oriented Interns for Busy Season or as we call it "Success Season" 2027 (January - April) in all offices. Interns at BMSS will have the opportunity to experience client work in both Assurance and Tax disciplines. The ideal candidate will be in their last semester of an accounting undergraduate degree or recently graduated and be available to work at one of our locations during the internship (Birmingham, Huntsville, Gadsden, Mobile, or Ridgeland).

BMSS was established in Birmingham in 1991 and has grown to become a top 100 advisory and CPA firm in the U.S. Our services include tax planning, compliance and assurance, merger and acquisition, advisory, wealth management, accounting services, payroll, and IT support. BMSS strives to give "peace of mind" and believes in providing an exceptional experience to our clients and our employees.

We are happy to work around class schedules but do require a minimum commitment of 20 hours per week during the internship. As an intern you will be getting real life experience with Assurance and Tax work.

• Majority of credits completed for a bachelor's degree in accounting from an accredited college/university.
