Position: Accounting Clerk - $19-20/hr - Hoover, AL
Snelling is currently seeking an upbeat and professional Accounting Clerk for an amazing automotive dealership in the Hoover area. Hours 8a-5p Monday-Friday. Starting Pay $/hr. As an Accounting Clerk, you will play a crucial role in supporting the company's accounting functions. Leveraging your specialized expertise, you will be responsible for performing a variety of accounting tasks, ensuring accurate financial records and compliance with relevant regulations.

Key Responsibilities of Accounting Clerk:
• Prepare and process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions

• Reconcile bank statements and maintain general ledger accounts

• Assist with the preparation of financial reports and statements

• Perform data entry and maintain accurate accounting records

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial information and analysis

• Comply with all applicable accounting standards and internal control procedures

Qualifications Needed for Accounting Clerk:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field

• 2-3 years of experience as an Accounting Specialist or similar role

• Strong proficiency in accounting software and spreadsheet applications

• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Familiarity with accounting principles and regulations

• Bookkeeping and Quick Books experience is a must
