Accounting Manager (Operations)

Our client is seeking an Accounting Manager (Operations) to join their Accounting team. This is a highly visible role focused on overseeing day‑to‑day accounting operations while helping drive process improvement, scalability, and data‑driven decision‑making.

• Oversee full‑cycle accounting operations, including close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
• Manage and review accounting processes across multiple entities and operational areas
• Drive improvements in processes, controls, and reporting efficiency
• Partner with cross‑functional leaders to support business operations and decision‑making
• Lead and develop accounting staff while ensuring accuracy and timeliness of deliverables
• Support audit, reporting, and special project initiatives

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
• 5–8+ years of experience with strong exposure to full‑cycle accounting
• Background in complex, operational environments (industrial or similar preferred)
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting
• Experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel; exposure to data tools a plus
• CPA or CPA‑eligible preferred
