The Opportunity:We're actively seeking a Senior Accountant to join our team. In this role, you'll take the lead on audits, reviews, and other assurance engagements for a diverse range of clients. You'll work directly with clients, ensuring quality, accuracy, and compliance every step of the way.

What You'll Do:- Lead audits, reviews, and compilations from planning through completion
- Prepare and review work papers and financial statements in accordance with GAAP and other applicable standards
- Mentor junior staff and manage multiple client engagements
- Conduct internal control and risk assessments to identify process improvement opportunities
- Communicate proactively with clients regarding engagement progress, audit findings, and recommendations
- Research and resolve complex accounting and auditing issues
- Ensure engagements comply with professional and firm standards, as well as deadlines
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (Master's or CPA preferred)
- CPA license or eligibility to sit for the CPA exam
- 3-5+ years of public accounting experience focused on audit/assurance
- Strong technical knowledge of GAAP, GAAS, and internal controls
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and audit/accounting software (e.g., Case Ware, Pro System fx Engagement)
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with clients and teams
- Work with clients across a variety of industries, including nonprofit, construction, manufacturing, and government
