Position Overview

Kassouf is seeking highly motivated accounting students for our Summer 2027 Accounting Internship
, an early‑pipeline opportunity designed for students interested in building a long‑term career in public accounting at a regional firm. This internship is intended for students who will be sophomores during the 2026–2027 academic year and is structured as a precursor to a senior‑year internship. Successful interns may be invited back for a future internship, which can lead to full‑time opportunities with the firm.

Our internships are primarily based in the Birmingham area, with limited opportunities in other Alabama markets depending on firm needs and candidate fit. This opportunity will take place in Birmingham.

• Will be classified as a sophomore during the 2026–2027 academic year.
• Expected graduation of December 2028 or Spring 2029.
• Pursuing or intending to declare a major in Accounting.
  • Students currently classified as Pre‑Business or Undeclared who intend to declare Accounting are encouraged to apply.
• Interested in exploring a regional public accounting firm and a potential senior‑year internship.
• Willing to complete a required pre‑screening questionnaire.
