Interim Staff Accountant

Birmingham, AL | On-site | $40-45/h

We're looking for an Interim Staff Accountant to jump in and provide hands‑on support to our client during a critical period. This role is a great fit for someone who thrives in fast‑paced environments and is confident in core accounting functions.

• Handle GL entries, reconciliations, and reporting
• Support month-end / year-end close
• Assist with audits, tax filings, and financial analysis
• Manage AP/AR activity and contribute to budgeting/forecasting

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 4+ years of accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting
• Proficiency with accounting software (Quick Books, Net Suite, SAP, or similar)
