• Own the monthly close process, including account reconciliations and financial reporting
• Maintain balance sheet integrity and ensure cash accuracy
• Prepare and analyze job cost reports, including WIP schedules and project performance
• Support project‑related accounting such as billing, collections, and retainage tracking
• Lead regular accounting team meetings and help drive accountability across the function
• Assist with forecasting, budgeting, and financial planning activities
• Manage tax filings and year‑end reporting in coordination with external partners
• Identify and resolve discrepancies, improving processes and controls along the way

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• 5+ years of accounting experience, with strong exposure to job cost or project accounting
• Experience with a project‑based or cost accounting environment preferred
• ERP system experience (project‑based systems a plus)
• Advanced Excel skills
• Strong understanding of GAAP
• Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail and communication skills
