Job Description
SummarySpire Alabama is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to support day‑to‑day accounts payable operations, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments while maintaining strong internal controls. This role partners closely with internal teams and vendors to resolve issues efficiently and support month‑end close activities.
Key Responsibilities- Process vendor invoices, payment runs, voids, and reissues accurately and on time
- Resolve invoice discrepancies, matching errors, and payment holds
- Respond to internal and external vendor inquiries in a timely manner
- Assist with account reconciliations, vendor statement reviews, and month‑end close
- Support internal and external audits and SOX control requirements
- Maintain accurate records within ERP systems (e.g., Oracle and/or SAP)

- Three + years' experience in Accounts Payable or related business experience
- Knowledge of Oracle eBusiness Suite (or other large ERP systems)
- Must have experience in working in a Purchase Order environment AP Lead experience
Associate's degree in Finance, Accounting or a related business discipline preferred
Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel
