Our client is seeking a Senior Job Cost Accountant to join their team. This is a high‑impact role with direct visibility to leadership and true ownership over the close and project accounting process. The company offers long‑term stability, a collaborative environment, and strong benefits.

• Own the monthly close process, including account reconciliations and financial reporting.
• Maintain balance sheet integrity and ensure cash accuracy.
• Prepare and analyze job cost reports, including WIP schedules and project performance.
• Support project-related accounting such as billing, collections, and retainage tracking.
• Lead regular accounting team meetings and help drive accountability across the function.
• Assist with forecasting, budgeting, and financial planning activities.
• Manage tax filings and year‑end reporting in coordination with external partners.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies, improving processes and controls along the way.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• 5+ years of accounting experience, with strong exposure to job cost or project accounting.
• Experience with a project-based or cost accounting environment preferred.
• ERP system experience (project-based systems a plus).
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Strong understanding of GAAP.
• Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail and communication skills.
