Tax Manager - Tax Compliance

Join our dynamic leadership team as a Tax Manager in our Birmingham, AL office. You will train, develop, and mentor staff in a fast‑growing international public accounting firm. Our focus is on foreign‑owned companies and foreign individuals.

Preferred candidate is local to the Birmingham office and on‑site. Qualified candidates local to Austin, Texas, may work remotely to support the Birmingham team.

• Tax compliance focus
• Lead team, train, and develop staff
• Manage client work and relationships
• Review and/or prepare federal and state corporate & partnership income tax returns
• Prepare current and deferred income tax provisions for corporate taxpayers under ASC 740
• Assist with tax consulting and research, state and local, domestic and international matters common to our clients

• 5–7 years of tax experience in public accounting, preferably in international tax compliance
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in accountancy or taxation, or similar from an accredited college/university
• 1–2 years of income tax return review experience
• Experience with CCH Axcess
• Experience with Pro System fx Engagement
