Senior Accountant

H2 recruits is looking for an analytical, business savvy Senior Staff Accountant who is a self-starter, who can work independently, has exceptional attention to detail, and has the acute ability to meet deadlines. This person will collaborate with multiple people and departments to assist in monthly tasks and projects and achieve overall finance department goals.

• Monthly sales & utility tax returns
• Monthly balance sheet reconciliations
• Prepare and enter monthly journal entries including accruals and payroll
• Assist in preparing monthly financial statements
• Track all vendor and counter party payments throughout the month and year
• Prepare all wires, ACH payments, ACH drafts, and checks, including Positive Pay
• Manage the voice verification process
• Experience with writing procedures, checklists, policies, etc. and identifying opportunities within current internal controls
• Assist in annual financial audits
• Various projects and tasks as assigned

• Can collaborate with multiple people and departments
• Intermediate experience with Microsoft Suite
