The Altamont School in Birmingham, AL seeks an experienced Assistant Director of Finance to join the accounting team. This role manages daily accounting processes, prepares financial statements, reconciles ledgers, and supports month-end close under GAAP.
You will supervise the Business Office staff, oversee accounts payable, payroll, and tuition billing through FACTS, coordinate with the CFO on budgets and audits, and assist with financial planning for the school’s nonprofit operations.
