Our client is seeking a Senior Accountant to contribute to core corporate accounting activities, including financial reporting, general ledger maintenance, and account analysis. This full-time hybrid position supports the accounting function and works closely with leadership responsible for financial oversight.
In this role, you will helpmaintainaccuratefinancial records, evaluate account activity, perform reconciliations, and support reporting requirements. The position requires strong technical accounting knowledge, adaptability, and the ability to work independently in a changing business environment.
What You’llDo:Compile and post journal entries to supportaccuratefinancial reporting.
Perform balance sheet reconciliations and resolve outstanding variances.
Analyze financial results, investigate unusual fluctuations, and communicate findings.
Support month-end and periodic reporting processes tied to general ledger activity.
Assist with inventory-related accounting procedures and special projects.
Contribute to accounting integration efforts associated withacquiredoperations.
Conduct research and ad hoc financial analysis as requested.
What We’re Looking For:Bachelor’s degree in Accountingrequired.
Approximately threeto five years of accounting experience, including public accounting, industry experience, or a combination of both.
Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP and general ledger accounting practices.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Strong organizational abilities witha high levelof accuracy and attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and communicate effectively across departments.
Exposure to ERP systems; experience with People Soft or Blacklineis beneficial.
CPA designation or progress toward certification is preferred.
