Our client is seeking a Staff Accountant to support daily accounting operations.
Thisfull-time, primarily onsite position is responsible formaintainingaccuratefinancial records, supporting reporting activities, and contributing to core accounting processes.
In this role, you will work closely with accounting leadership to helpmaintainfinancial integrity across multiple operating functions. The position offers exposure to transactional accounting, reporting requirements, reconciliation activities, and cross-functional financial support within a collaborative accounting team.
What You’llDo:- Compile and assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting activities.
- Contribute to month-end and year-end closing procedures, including variance review.
- Generate and record journal entries while maintainingaccurategeneral ledger activity.
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts and investigate outstanding discrepancies.
- Support cash management, banking coordination, and related treasury functions.
- Process, monitor, and assist with accounts receivable, accounts payable, billing, and cash application activities.
- Provide schedules and documentation for external audit requests and compliance-related reviews.
- Create financial analyses and ad hoc reports for management.
- Partner with departmental stakeholders to research financial questions and resolve account issues.
- Identify opportunities to enhance accounting workflows, strengthen controls, and improve operational efficiency.
- Maintain adherence to accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related business discipline.
- Approximately one to three years of accounting experience in a professional environment.
- Advanced capability with Microsoft Excel and spreadsheet-based analysis.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to work cooperatively with colleagues across multiple departments.
- High level of accuracy, reliability, and accountability.
- Flexibility to adapt within a changing business environment.
