Staff Accountant
Lewis James Professional is a woman-owned staff augmentation, project consulting and direct hire search and placement firm. We are currently seeking a Staff Accountant for a consultant opportunity with a financial services client.
Responsibilities:- Support the accounting team as needed for various activities.
- Experience with reconciliation, month-end close and AP.
- Assist in maintaining accurate accounting documentation and records in accordance with company policies.
- Respond to ad hoc accounting, administrative, and operational requests as business needs arise.
- Contribute across multiple accounting functions, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to take on varied responsibilities.
- Accounting, bookkeeping, accounts payable, or related financial operations experience.
- Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy in data entry and financial recordkeeping.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and standard accounting software applications.
- Banking, financial services, or credit union experience is highly preferred.
