Financial Controller

Cahaba Restoration is growing, and we’re looking for an experienced Financial Controller to join our team. We’re looking for someone who is organized, dependable, detail-oriented, and ready to take ownership of the financial side of a growing company.

• Proven experience in accounting, finance, or a Controller-level role
• Experience overseeing financial operations and P&L responsibility for a business with $10M+ in annual revenue
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
• Experience overseeing accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Ability to manage month-end and year-end closing processes
• Strong understanding of GAAP and general accounting practices
• Experience with accounting software such as Quick Books or similar platforms
• Strong Excel and financial analysis skills
• Ability to create and maintain accurate financial reports for leadership
• Excellent attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently, take ownership, and communicate clearly with our team
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
• Previous experience in the restoration, construction, roofing, or home-services industry is a plus

• Oversee the day-to-day financial operations of Cahaba Restoration
• Manage and analyze the company’s Profit & Loss (P&L), including revenue, expenses, margins, and overall profitability
• Prepare and present accurate financial reports to company leadership
