Salary Range: $47,000 - $52,000

Position Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented Cash Application Specialist to support the accurate and timely application of incoming payments. This role plays a key part in maintaining financial records, resolving discrepancies, and supporting the overall accounts receivable process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Post and apply daily customer payments (ACH, wire, check, credit card)
• Reconcile payments to customer accounts and invoices
• Research and resolve payment discrepancies and unapplied cash
• Maintain accurate records of transactions and account activity
• Communicate with customers and internal teams regarding payment issues
• Assist with month-end closing and reporting

Qualifications:

• 1-3 years of cash application, accounts receivable, or related experience
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Basic understanding of accounting principles
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems/ERP Strong problem-solving and communication skills
