- Analyze key processes in payables and receivables
- Report on performance metrics and recommend process changes to improve metrics
- Engage with the Motion Supply Chain team to evaluate and recommend supplier relationship improvements from a Motion Treasury perspective
- Assist with reviews of new leases for proper accounting classification
- Support field needs relating to existing credit card and vending programs
- Monitor data integrity between multiple ERP platforms and People Soft accounting software
- Manage cash
- Reconcile key activity
- Work with electronic payment and receipt programs
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Typically requires a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
- Zero (0) to two (2) years of experience or an equivalent combination
- High level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Highly organized and detail oriented
- Ability to independently manage multiple responsibilities and projects concurrently and meet deadlines
- Ability to work effectively individually and as part of a team
Demonstrates strong analytical skills in evaluating payables and receivables processes, with a focus on performance metrics and supplier relationship improvements. Proficient in managing cash and reconciling activities while ensuring data integrity across ERP platforms and accounting software.
