AP Specialist

Our client, a longstanding leader in the construction industry with deep roots across Alabama, is looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist to keep their payables running like clockwork. You’ll own full-cycle AP across two entities, working directly with field and operations teams to keep the business moving.

• $21–$26/hour, depending on experience

• Code and enter vendor invoices
• Match packing slips to invoices
• Print AP checks and prepare check runs across multiple companies
• File paid invoices with check copies attached
• Determine proper account coding for invoices

• High school diploma or GED;
  Associate’s is a plus
• 3+ years of accounts payable experience
• Proficient in Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Background in construction, manufacturing, or distribution preferred
• Experience ERP systems
