Senior Internal Auditor - CPA or CIA Required

Our client is seeking a Senior Internal Auditor to join its growing Internal Audit team. This is an excellent opportunity for an audit professional who enjoys evaluating risk, improving processes, and partnering with leadership to strengthen internal controls across a complex organization.

The ideal candidate will have a blend of public accounting and/or internal audit experience and must hold a CPA or CIA designation
.

• Execute financial, operational, and compliance audits in accordance with professional auditing standards.
• Assess internal controls, identify risks, and recommend process improvements.
• Assist with enterprise risk assessments and annual audit planning activities.
• Partner with management to communicate audit findings and develop practical solutions.
• Perform walkthroughs, testing, data analysis, and documentation of audit procedures.
• Monitor audit recommendations and follow up on corrective action plans.
• Assist with special projects, investigations, and process improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across multiple departments and business functions.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA or CIA designation required.
• 3+ years of public accounting, internal audit, or related audit experience.
• Strong knowledge of internal controls, risk management, and audit methodologies.
• Experience identifying process improvement opportunities and strengthening controls.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and project management skills.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience working with large data sets.
• Ability to work independently while partnering effectively with various levels of management.
