Our client, a fast-growing trailer and equipment dealership in Birmingham. As Staff Accountant, you’ll help build the financial backbone behind sales, leasing, rentals, parts, and service as the company scales.

- Work directly with the CFO and Controller
- Exposure across multiple revenue streams, not just one ledger

- $75,000–$80,000
- Discretionary bonus
- Annual increases
- Prepare and post journal entries across multiple business lines
- Own bank reconciliations and keep cash accounts accurate
- Support month-end close and balance sheet reconciliations
Investigate and resolve variances - Partner with the Controller and Accounting Managers on reporting
- Help build processes as the department grows
- Proven bank reconciliation and journal entry experience
- Bachelors in Accounting
- Solid GAAP knowledge
- Ability to pick up industry-specific accounting software
- Bonus: background in logistics, trucking, or heavy equipment
