Legal Assistant

Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 per year.

Location:

Birmingham Office.

Responsibilities
  • Drafting and polishing legal documents and correspondence.
  • Keeping case files organized from open to close.
  • Supporting attorneys with research and trial/hearing prep.
  • Managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and coordinating travel.
  • Communicating with clients, witnesses, and teammates with professionalism and confidence.
  • Assisting with general administrative tasks that keep the office running smoothly.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience as a Legal Assistant.
  • Bankruptcy experience is required. Experience in Business Services, Commercial Real Estate, General Litigation, Foreclosure is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent time‑management skills.
  • Ability to work independently while still being a great team player.
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office and legal document management systems.
  • Clear, professional communication skills.
