Position Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Projects support Coordinator to support our Labor Relations Department. This critical role will provide comprehensive administrative assistance, coordinate project-related activities, and ensure efficient day‑to‑day operations. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast‑paced environment, demonstrates exceptional attention to detail, and can communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate and track job postings and related documentation
- Support event planning by booking venues, coordinating catering, and handling logistics
- Maintain time‑keeping records and process employee expense reports accurately
- Arrange travel for department staff and visitors, including transportation and accommodations
- Assist with budgeting and financial tracking for departmental activities
- Order office supplies, manage inventory, and ensure department resources are stocked and organized
- Organize and prepare materials for internal and external meetings
- Provide administrative support on ad hoc tasks as needed to support Labor Relations operations
Skills & Qualifications
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
- Strong conflict resolution capabilities; ability to navigate sensitive situations with discretion
- Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with a high level of integrity
- Effective multitasking and prioritization skills
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaboratively within a team
- Experience supporting Human Resources, Labor Relations, or similar functions
- Familiarity with corporate time‑keeping and expense management systems
- Background in coordinating administrative projects in a unionized or regulatory environment
