Administrative Assistant​/Receptionist

Vernis & Bowling of Birmingham is seeking a full-time Receptionist/Administrative Assistant.

This position is a fundamental part of our team, as those in this role perform vital duties to ensure that the office runs smoothly and its professionals are supported.

Candidates must have excellent interpersonal skills to ensure visitors have good first impressions and feel welcomed. To be successful, candidates must also have exceptional organization, multi-tasking, and communication skills. This role often leads to candidates being promoted to a Legal Assistant or Paralegal.

The Administrative Assistant/Receptionist is responsible for providing administrative assistance, legal assistant assistance, and clerical services for our office. These duties can range from receptionist duties to assisting with various building matters to legal matters. This is a great opportunity to learn more about law firms and to gain experience that allows you to pursue and grow in many legal or administrative roles.

Experience is welcome in the following fields, although not required:
Receptionist, Legal Assistant, or Office and Building Management. Salary in the provided range is commensurate with experience.
