JOB SUMMARY
The Coordinator, Clinical Support is responsible for coordinating clinical education operations to ensure students successfully complete required clinical experiences. This position manages clinical schedules, student placements, onboarding requirements, affiliation agreements, and clinical documentation while supporting accreditation compliance and maintaining effective relationships with clinical affiliates, students, and faculty.
QUALIFICATIONS- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in an educational, healthcare, clinical academic, or related administrative setting.
- Experience coordinating schedules, contracts, or clinical operations preferred.
- Strong organizational and project coordination skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build collaborative relationships.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to learn specialized software systems (e.g., Typhon, Brightspace).
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality.

RESPONSIBILITIES- Coordinate and maintain student clinical rotation schedules to ensure required clinical experiences, accreditation standards, and program objectives are met.
- Manage student clinical placements, onboarding requirements, and clinical documentation in collaboration with faculty and clinical affiliates.
- Coordinate and maintain clinical affiliation agreements and serve as a liaison with clinical sites regarding scheduling, documentation, and placement needs.
- Monitor and maintain student compliance records, including RN licensure, liability insurance, and other required clinical documentation.
- Track and manage student leave, including vacation, personal, emergent, and compensation time.
- Maintain accurate clinical records, schedules, site information, preceptor accounts, and other data within Typhon and related systems.
- Maintain and update clinical orientation materials and resources within Brightspace and other designated learning platforms.
- Assist with accreditation activities, including COA reports, self‑study documentation, clinical site approvals, and other regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate logistics for clinical site visits and assist with out‑of‑town student housing arrangements as needed.
- Prepare reports, maintain departmental records, support continuous quality improvement initiatives, and assist with school‑wide projects and other duties as assigned.

Reports to the Assistant Program Administrator for Clinical Education, DNAP-PD.
ATTENDANCEExpected to be available and on campus during normal business hours of Middle Tennessee School of Anesthesia, Monday through Thursday, 8:00 am to 6:00 pm CST.
WORKING CONDITIONSTypical office environment with frequent interaction via email, phone, and in‑person communication. Requires timely electronic documentation and mobility to participate in on‑campus activities and meetings.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENTFull‑time employment by MTSA.
