Summary:
This position will provide district-wide administrative support services, managing property, vehicles, procurement, space, security, mail, and COMSEC programs while, at the GS 11 level, independently analyzing operations, improving processes, and ensuring compliance with DOJ and EOUSA requirements.
- Serve as the primary accountable property custodian for the district.
- Manage and control usage of government vehicles.
- Co‑ordinate facility management, repairs, and service requests.
- Manage incoming/outgoing mail and ensure secure shipment compliance.
- Oversee district communications and physical security compliance.
- U.S. citizen or national.
- Satisfactory pre‑employment adjudication, including fingerprint, credit, tax checks and drug testing.
- Certified registration for Selective Service, if applicable.
- One‑year probationary period may be required if selected.
- Meet time‑in‑grade and qualification requirements within 30 days after closing date.
GS‑9:
One full year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS‑07 level in federal service.
Specialized Experience (public administration, business administration, facilities management, supply chain management, occupational safety, etc.):
- Property, inventory, supply, or government vehicle management.
- Space, facilities, or building management.
- Purchasing and oversight of maintenance of supplies and equipment.
- Physical and/or communications security.
- Auditing or internal controls.
- Mail management and secure shipping.
Or
Education – One of the following:
Master’s or equivalent graduate degree; two full years of progressive graduate education; LL.B or J.D. if related.
GS‑11
:
One full year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS‑09 level in federal service. Similar specialized experience list applies.
Or
Education – Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree; three full years of progressive graduate education; LL.M. if related.
