Data Protection Administrator - Birmingham (Hybrid) - Temporary (2–3 Months)

Gleeson Recruitment Group are currently recruiting for a Data Protection Administrator to join a Birmingham-based organisation on a temporary basis for an initial 2–3 month contract
.

This is an excellent opportunity for an organised administrator with strong attention to detail who is looking to gain experience within data protection and compliance. Working as part of a busy team, you will provide administrative support across a range of GDPR and information governance activities, ensuring records are maintained accurately and requests are handled efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Providing administrative support to the Data Protection and Compliance team.
  • Logging and tracking data protection requests and correspondence.
  • Assisting with Subject Access Requests (SARs) and maintaining accurate records.
  • Updating and maintaining confidential databases and document management systems.
  • Preparing documentation, reports and correspondence.
  • Supporting the team with data audits and compliance activities.
  • Liaising with internal stakeholders to gather information where required.
  • Ensuring all work is completed in line with GDPR and company policies.
About You
  • Previous experience within a legal administrative role with experience of handling Subject Access Requests.
  • Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Confident working with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.
  • Able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Experience working with confidential information is essential.
  • Previous exposure to GDPR, data protection or compliance would be advantageous.
