PROGRAM DIRECTOR II

General ResponsibilitiesThe Program Director II will lead operational support for clinical research and training programs in the Program for Translational Pharmacogenomics within the Department of Neurology, as well as support genomic medicine initiatives on behalf of the Associate Dean for Genomic Medicine in the Heersink School of Medicine. Primary responsibilities include: training program direction, annual scientific meetings, executive support, and monthly webinars.

QualificationsMinimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree in a related field and five (5) years of related experience required. Work experience may NOT substitute for education requirement.
Preferences- Demonstrated ability to comprehend and distill complex scientific concepts in genetics or genomics into accessible language.
- Expert proficiency in MS Office products as well as Adobe, Tableau, Oracle, and file-sharing platforms such as Box.
- Proficiency in virtual meeting tools (e.g., Zoom, Webex) and Microsoft 365 / Google Workspace for calendar/travel management.
- Exceptional organizational, time-management, and prioritization skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills to collaborate with multi-disciplinary medical teams.
- High attention to detail and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-operational-tempo environment.
