Capital Medical LLC is looking for a reliable and personable Office Assistant to support the daily operations of our medical office. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for patients and visitors, handle administrative tasks, and help keep the office running smoothly. We are seeking a detail-oriented team player who can multitask in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesFront Desk & Patient Support
- Greet patients and visitors warmly and professionally.
- Answer incoming phone calls, schedule appointments, and respond to inquiries.
- Check patients in and out, verify insurance information, and collect co-payments or outstanding balances.
- Maintain patient records and ensure all documentation is accurate and up to date.
Administrative Support
- Manage office correspondence, including emails, faxes, and mail.
- Organize and maintain filing systems (paper and electronic).
- Assist with data entry, medical records management, and scanning documents.
- Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure smooth patient flow.
Office Operations
- Monitor and order office supplies as needed.
- Keep the reception and waiting areas clean and organized.
- Assist with billing support, including processing payments and posting charges as directed.
- Support other team members with various clerical tasks as assigned.
Compliance & Confidentiality
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain strict patient confidentiality at all times.
- Follow all company policies and safety procedures.
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in an office setting (medical office experience is a plus).
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Professional, friendly, and customer-service-oriented demeanor.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work efficiently in a busy environment.
Preferred:
- Experience with electronic health records (EHR) and medical billing software.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance verification processes.
- Flexible scheduling options:
Full-time, Part-time, Seasonal Full-time, or Seasonal Part-time. - Competitive hourly pay of $20.00 $ 30.00, depending on experience.

Required qualifications:
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- 21+ years or older
- Valid driver's license
