This is a full-time, on-site role based in Birmingham, AL, for a Supply Chain & Procurement Lead. The role involves managing supply chain and procurement operations, overseeing inventory management, and ensuring optimized operations. You will work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners, monitor procurement strategies, and ensure cost‑effective and timely acquisition of materials. The role also requires analyzing supply chain data to identify and implement improvements, fostering effective communication with stakeholders, and maintaining compliance with company standards.

• Lead mill and supplier negotiations (pricing, premiums, terms)
• Develop disciplined purchasing strategy in a volatile commodity market
• Set stocking levels by alloy and thickness
• Improve inventory turns and reduce aged inventory
• Partner with Sales and Finance to protect and improve gross margin
• Build KPI visibility around purchasing and working capital

• Proficiency in Supply Chain Management and Inventory Management
• Strong Analytical Skills for data‑driven decision‑making
• Experience in Operations Management and process optimization
• Exceptional Communication skills to collaborate with internal teams and external vendors
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
• Proficiency in supply chain software and tools is a plus
• Detail‑oriented mindset with strong organizational and problem‑solving abilities
