Position: Human Resources Intern- Benefits & Wellness

Founded in Birmingham, Alabama in 1905, AMERICAN is a manufacturer of fire hydrants, valves, ductile iron and spiral-welded steel pipe for the waterworks industry, and high-frequency-welded steel pipe for the oil and natural gas industries. AMERICAN's diversified product line also includes fire pumps, structural casing and piling, castings for waterworks products and large machinery, and specialty rubber products.

Minimum Qualification

* Available to Intern Summer 2026

* Currently Pursuing a Degree in Human Resources or Business

* Basic Computer Skills

* Attention to Detail

Ideal Candidate

* Sophomore or Junior Class Standing

* Experience with managing documents

* Experience with Excel or Sharepoint

Potential Projects

* Managing QLE Documents and uploading to a new vendor's platform

* Assist during Wellness Days and Summer Wellness Fair

* Cover the Wellness Front Desk as needed
