Apex Systems is currently hiring for a SIPS Specialist with one of our top clients in the Birmingham, AL area. The successful candidate will work 4 days onsite and 1 day remote, earning $30‑$35 per hour on a 1‑year contract with potential extension.

• Support the Supplier Information and Process Solutions (SIPS) team by vetting, establishing, and maintaining a 50k+ supplier master database in support of the Procure to Pay (P2P) process.
• Analyze, research, and process requests to add, change, or inactivate suppliers systemwide based on established policies and procedures.
• Maintain confidentiality and handle high‑volume, sensitive transactions.
• Interact with internal and external customers while adhering to compliance, auditing controls, and regulatory guidelines.
• Work independently as a self‑starter and adapt to changing responsibilities to meet team needs.

• 5‑10 years of related work experience.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and customer‑service skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Teams, etc.).
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong time‑management and problem‑solving skills.
